Hello again dear writer friends,

In this article writing guide, I am going to attempt to take away the misconception that only well trained and experienced writers will achieve online marketing success.  If you have the desire to learn, you can become a successful writer.  Believe you can write and you can grow into it!

All it takes is time, patience, commitment and the ability to follow a simple prescription.  This is your opportunity to become a good, maybe even GREAT writer.  How cool is that?  I did it, and so can you.

Article writing comes easily to many.  For those of us who can’t claim that ease at the start, there are still ways to make it happen.  Start your article writing about topics that you know about and understand already.  With that solid knowledge, the focus narrows down to the actual written word.  The “task” becomes writing down what you already know.  Online marketing success comes quickly when you “write what you know”.

Perfection is not required!  But good grammar and correct spelling is……

Start by selecting a small sub-topic in your area of expertise.  Write your article on that sub-topic.  Be succinct.  You are not writing a novel.  Your article should be about 400-500 words in length when completed.

You can write enough to convey one complete thought or idea, but not everything there is to know about the topic.  Your goal, however, is to tell that idea really well.  Quality is important here.  If there is more to tell on your topic, you can save it for a follow-up article.

Article writing is easy if you start with a subject you know well.

Selecting the right keywords and keyword phrases is critical to maximizing the impact of the article you create.  Take full advantage of them.  Your article writing must include the correct keyword density.  That is what the search engines are looking for.  Caution must be taken to not use keywords too frequently in an article ~ it can impact the overall quality and clarity of the message of your article.

A happy compromise in keyword density must be achieved in your article writing.

A good formula to follow when writing 300-500 word articles is:

• Your keywords and keyword phrases must be included in the article title.
• And, they must be included in the first, introductory paragraph of your article.
• The middle paragraph of your article, MUST include your keywords and keyword phrases.
• The same applies to the final, conclusion paragraph of your article.

This formula will provide a starting place for you in your effort to achieve the right keyword density for your articles.  Experiment to validate this is the right keyword density for your article writing.  Sometimes, a slightly higher density will work.  Seldom will a reduction in keywords be as effective.
