Dear Reader,

Mindset?  What is it?  How do you determine success or failure?  Mindset.  Have you ever heard that terminology?  The truth is that most of us are just too busy being comfortable with where we are, as opposed to taking the risks necessary to be successful. Let me explain.

Certainly, the above is true of me.  I am guilty of being a great procrastinator, and, I have a tendency to dream of success on  one hand and consider it to be a fantastic impossibility on the other.  To risk moving out of my comfort zone to attempt to learn another Internet Marketing tool?  Ouch.  Fortunately, I have recently found how highly valuable this Mindset technique actually is!

It is far more critical than you can possibly imagine.

Trying hard to pound this Mindset stuff into my brain, has not been easy  for me.  I am still trying to “get it”.  But doing my due diligence on your behalf, I will tell you what I now know about Mindset.  It is my responsibility to teach you this, and I have delved deep into the research part, as well as my own mind and emotions.

Do you sometimes feel you just can’t “make it”?  I feel that way, often.  But I’ll never quit.  I am resolved to always push forward.  Going backwards is not an option.  Being desperate is pathetic, stupid and foolish…and it is darned depressing.

Seek out rich people.  Learn from them.  What was their secret to success?  Do what they do.  When you see a promising opportunity, don’t let it pass you by.

Be passionate about what you do.  Trust your gut and follow your intuition.  Ask yourself what motivates you to be successful.  Be as specific as possible.  For me, it was previous financial ruin.

I have written all of the above so that you will THINK, and WANT all of it.  What follows are my thoughts on achieving a positive mindset.

Mindset is a method that creates a powerful incentive within you.  It can also be described as a philosophy of life.  The typical  mindset of an entrepreneur must contain a positive attitude, determination, focus, confidence and curiosity.  Think about it….could Bill Gates have created Microsoft without the above traits?  Of course not.  His mindset was not about could he succeed, it was about “how” to.  He had the knowledge.  He needed to implement it ~ and he did!  I can, you can, we all can, with the right Mindset.

A positive mindset is the only thing you need to embark on a desired career path, and best of all, it’s free!  Act like success is possible and you can be as successful as you want to be.  Want it with all your heart, mind and soul.  When that positive mindset is in place, it’s easy to feel the energetic stirrings of personal achievement that lies just around the next corner.

Never underestimate the power of a positive mindset.  Remember, it will only get stronger with the determination and passion that you infuse it with.

Don’t dream it……Do it!

Dear Reader,

Internet Marketing.  That seems so generic, as in “duh!”  But there is so much to Internet Marketing that I thought perhaps it might be time to go over a few basics.  A “refresher”, so to speak.

But before I get into “Internet Marketing”, I want to take a paragraph to say thank you.

You all have been so kind in your hundreds of remarks that you send me.  Sometimes you need more information on a specific aspect of Internet Marketing, and I try to oblige.  You seem actually to appreciate what I am writing, and I am tremendously grateful.  Time simply does not allow me to respond to each and every one of you in a timely manner.  I DO try to get around to answering your communication…..eventually.  And hope to continue to do so.  Have patience with me, please.  I have a tendency to be a bit of a perfectionist, and that is not always a good trait.

Now, back to more tidbits on Internet Marketing in general.  Internet Marketing is a buzzword that encompasses all aspects of promoting products and services online.  While there are plenty of ways to do it ( ie: different methods), they all boil down to a few simple things.  I love the word “simple” as that is my goal here.  Make Internet Marketing simple, yet, understandable.  Knowing these things will help you to see better results.  With that in mind here are a few steps to help you make the most of your efforts.

First, have a plan.  I am not talking about a complete business plan with a table of contents, index and footnotes!  Just have a desired target to keep you on the right path.  Think.  Where do you want to be next year, 3 years, 5 years….whatever!  This, by the way works in any area of your life.

Second, is people.  People spend money.  This means you have to connect with people, but always, on a human level.  Make them feel important.  Help them to learn to trust you.  They will respond in kind and be more likely to take advantage of whatever you are offering.

Special note:  I have a “mentor” who I trust and I will do whatever she asks, and feel like following her to the moon because she has big dreams.  I choose to be an “out of this world” dreamer also.

Next, Numbers matter…..they are important.  If you could just make money by being nice, the world would be filled with a lot more millionaires.  Track your numbers.

TEST and TRACK.  These three words hold a vast amount of profit potential in Internet Marketing.

I need to do more research on this topic for you, to give you an edge up on your competition.  I have made a note of it.  Hope someone will hold me to it!  One of my faults is becoming distracted.

Lastly, Enjoy Yourself.  This tip is just as important as the others.  All too often, we get hung up on things that really do not matter in the big scheme of things.  When that happens, we get stressed and frustrated.  You might even consider quitting this Internet Marketing stuff.  It’s too darned hard.

When that happens, remind yourself that you are doing something…….YOU are an Internet Marketer!

Reread this article and think and follow through and make things happen.  I have faith in you.
