Why Keywords?

Dear faithful reader,

I’ve mentioned the importance of keywords in past articles, however, I feel the need to reinforce the critical significance of putting those keywords in strategic places in your article writing.

Before I get started, I want to tell you how very much I appreciate your many comments.  Certainly, they are diverse, but diversity is a very good thing!  I welcome negative, as well as positive, remarks.  Just keep them coming please.  Your comments give me the inspiration to keep writing.  Providing you with helpful and relevant information is my only goal here.

One of the most important skills to learn is SEO (search engine optimization).   SEO is one of the best ways to get lots of free targeted website traffic.  You need to begin with a good keyword search tool to help find good keywords to use.

When you “google” SEO or keyword search tool, you will be given far too many choices.  It can be confusing….at least, it is to me.  I suggest you use Wordtracker.com and forget the others.

What are you selling or offering as a service?  Think like a consumer who is looking for this exact thing.  What words would you use to search online?  This is the starting point for your keyword search.  Be creative.  THINK about what someone else would search for.  I cannot stress this enough.  It will take some time, maybe even a few months, for you to get a feel for which keywords will work best for you…..and those that will not.  It is imperative for you to find the best keywords for your article, blog, site, or whatever it is that you are promoting.

I hope I am making sense to you here.  Occasionally I find it difficult to specifically describe what I am trying to tell you.  I know what I want to say about why keywords are necessary, but have I conveyed it to you?

Type your ideas, one at a time, into the keyword finder of your choice.  The keyword finder will then be able to give you more suggestions of other keywords you may not have thought of.  Open a Notepad file and save these keywords for later use.  Keep your keywords up to date with the ones that are working best.  Keeping your keywords up to date will ensure that your website stays at the top of the search engine results page.

Another trick.  Your site will get ranked higher if your domain name is your keyword.  Everything is connected, starting with your domain name right on down to your blog posts and your chosen search engine marketing keyword.

Lastly, and this is good, try to find out what keywords your competitors are using by locating the keyword tags on their website.  Right click in a blank area of the website, then click on “view source” in the drop down menu.  Refine those keywords by making them a more exact description of what it is you are offering and use them to your advantage as one search engine marketing keyword.

Remember Why Keywords are profoundly important ~ they’ll lead to your success, that’s why!

To YOUR abundant success,

Maureen Amberg

Create Your Vision

Dear reader:

Please allow me to go “off topic” and help you to Create Your Vision.

Usually, I am talking about things related to Internet Marketing, hence

my site is called ExploreInternetMarketingOnline.  However, without

a “vision” how can you possibly be successful at internet marketing, or

anything, for that matter.

I am by nature an optimist.  Always, I choose to see the good in everything

and everyone.  Seldom am I disappointed.  There is so much negativity

in the world.  Wouldn’t you like to change that, even if just a little bit?  You

have control over YOUR world.  Be optimistic about it.  Forget pessimism!

It is never worth it.

Well, here goes.  I am going to help you Create Your Vision.

As Yogi Berra once said, “If you don’t know where you’re going,

you are bound to end up somewhere else”.  What he is saying is

you must be very clear on what it is you want in life and what you

want your life to look like, or you will end up somewhere else…..

and that somewhere else may not be very satisfying.  There are

many other words you can substitute for not satisfying, but

none are pretty.

Did you know that most people’s lives are a direct reflection of

their peer groups?  I think I heard Tony Robbins say that on

one of his tapes.  But it is very true.  Think about it!  Your beliefs,

habits, usual thoughts are similar to your closest friends.

If you are not living your ideal life and you want to make some

powerful changes, take a look at who you are spending most of

your time with.

What is your ideal life?  Write it down….in great detail.

Make a list of the friends you spend the most time with.

Compare that list with your ideal life.  Be very honest with

yourself and look at which friends are in complete alignment

with your ideal life and are encouraging you towards that

life.  Then look at the friends that are out of alignment with

you and your visionary ideal life.  Are they pulling you away

from that life, or keeping you in the same exact place?

You must do some serious reflection and take a look at just

how important it is to YOU to live your ideal life.  To create your

vision.

Is it worth releasing certain friends?  If not, why not?

I will share with you, that has been one of the most important

keys that I have done to live the life that I am striving to live

now.  Lonesome?  Yes, it can be.  However, you will attract new

friends that are more in alignment with where you want to be.

Whenever you let something go in your life, something better

will always come to replace it, if you are patient.  That means

friends, things and relationships.  Be happy and optimistic.  You’ll

be healthier also if you follow my recommendations.  I know.  I

live it.

Have I helped you to Create Your Vision?  Let me know.

To your inspired abundant vision,

Maureen Amberg

P L R – What Is It?

According to Wikipedia (the online free dictionary),  PLR (Private Label Rights) “is a concept used in Internet Marketing and derived from private labeling.  It’s a license where the author sells most or all of the intellectual property rights to their work.  The license is defined by the author of the work and has no legal definition”.  “Similar licenses include resell rights, also used in Internet Marketing”.

My dear readers:

Are you rolling your eyes yet?  When I first heard about P L R, or PLR (no spaces), I was totally confounded and not at all sure that I wanted to know much more about it.  Perhaps, but only perhaps, I can help to demystify P L R for you.  At least I will try.

PLR = Private Label Rights

You either purchase or download a product, and you can change it however you like.  You will be given a source file so that you can edit the content.  Be sure to check the “fine print” and look closely at the license.  Sometimes they are a little restrictive on how you are able to sell them, give them away, etc.

Licenses differ with each author and seller, but the basic premise is that the license permits you to re-brand the content under your own name and brand (excluding copyright).  This means that the product can be modified, sold, resold or re purposed in many different formats.  IE:  articles, reports, ebooks, software, templates, graphics and even videos.

In my experience, PLR is best used as a “resource” rather than a “source”, meaning that users should consider revising and improving existing private label content before distributing it under their own brand.  You want it to reflect your uniqueness!

Any website or blog owner knows how hard it can be to keep their sites updated with fresh and interesting content.  You don’t always have time to write everything yourself, and hiring a ghostwriter to create unique articles only for you can get very expensive.  That’s where P L R can be extremely helpful.

But be careful!  Having PLR content available can be a godsend or a curse.  It can be so easy to fall into the temptation of adding it to your website without editing the content to fit your own personality.  When you publish a PLR article without editing it first, you are devaluing your website or blog by using content that has already been published elsewhere (unless you are the first to buy it).

So be sure to change it!  Rewrite it.  Add something new.  Use bullet points.  Make it unique to your niche.  Always be aware of the quality of the writing that you are providing.  Some PLR is good, some really bad.  Like everything else in life.

P L R – What is it?  I hope I have fostered some useful and relevant information in your mind.  PLR can save you a great deal of time.  While I seldom use PLR myself, I know it is there if I get into a bind and need some information fast.

Has this been helpful?  Let me know.

Most sincerely,

Maureen Amberg

Keyword Density

Dear reader ~

If I have written about Keyword Density recently, this post is to reinforce  how very critical it is to have proper keyword density to be successful in your article writing!  If I have not written about keyword density, then I have been remiss, and I apologize.

Selecting the right keywords and phrases will maximize the impact of your article.  This keyword density subject is sometimes a bit difficult to understand.  I hope I can explain it to you and the reason (s) why it is vitally important.

The search engines recognize your chosen keywords and you may achieve your goal of getting a higher search engine page rank for your website, resulting in more “eyeballs”.

What exactly is keyword density?  It is the number of times your chosen keywords and keyword phrases are used in an article.  However, DO NOT use those keywords too frequently.  The overall clarity and quality of your message will be diminished.  Fine line here!

Also, excessive keyword density may result in your readers and the search engines becoming lost, because your article may appear to be overeager and perhaps even annoying.  Ouch.

On the other hand, not including your keywords enough is also a problem.  The search engines will actually miss your keywords altogether.  A balance must be achieved.

You like a challenge, right?  Well, get to it and balance your article writing with the proper keyword density.  You will be recognized as being keyword rich, but not overbearing.  Balance is a necessity to success in any part of one’s life; why not article writing as well?

Again, your keywords and keyword phrases MUST be included in the article title, and they must be in the first paragraph of your article…..usually your introductory one.

Put the keywords and keyword phrases in the middle part of your article, as well as the final conclusion part of your article.

This formula will provide a starting place for you in your effort to achieve the right keyword density for your articles.  Experiment to validate this is the right keyword density for your article writing.  Often a slightly higher density will work.  Seldom will a reduction in keywords be as effective.

Every article creator should consider starting a blog as a part of their web presence.  If you choose to build a blog you will need a hosting company.  The best one out there is hostgator, in my opinion.  Go here>>> http://secure.hostgator.com/~affiliat/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=mimimomo

I wish you every success in your article writing!
