Keyword Density

Dear reader ~

If I have written about Keyword Density recently, this post is to reinforce  how very critical it is to have proper keyword density to be successful in your article writing!  If I have not written about keyword density, then I have been remiss, and I apologize.

Selecting the right keywords and phrases will maximize the impact of your article.  This keyword density subject is sometimes a bit difficult to understand.  I hope I can explain it to you and the reason (s) why it is vitally important.

The search engines recognize your chosen keywords and you may achieve your goal of getting a higher search engine page rank for your website, resulting in more “eyeballs”.

What exactly is keyword density?  It is the number of times your chosen keywords and keyword phrases are used in an article.  However, DO NOT use those keywords too frequently.  The overall clarity and quality of your message will be diminished.  Fine line here!

Also, excessive keyword density may result in your readers and the search engines becoming lost, because your article may appear to be overeager and perhaps even annoying.  Ouch.

On the other hand, not including your keywords enough is also a problem.  The search engines will actually miss your keywords altogether.  A balance must be achieved.

You like a challenge, right?  Well, get to it and balance your article writing with the proper keyword density.  You will be recognized as being keyword rich, but not overbearing.  Balance is a necessity to success in any part of one’s life; why not article writing as well?

Again, your keywords and keyword phrases MUST be included in the article title, and they must be in the first paragraph of your article…..usually your introductory one.

Put the keywords and keyword phrases in the middle part of your article, as well as the final conclusion part of your article.

This formula will provide a starting place for you in your effort to achieve the right keyword density for your articles.  Experiment to validate this is the right keyword density for your article writing.  Often a slightly higher density will work.  Seldom will a reduction in keywords be as effective.

Every article creator should consider starting a blog as a part of their web presence.  If you choose to build a blog you will need a hosting company.  The best one out there is hostgator, in my opinion.  Go here>>> http://secure.hostgator.com/~affiliat/cgi-bin/affiliates/clickthru.cgi?id=mimimomo

I wish you every success in your article writing!

Create A Remarkable Title

Hello fellow writer,

Create a Remarkable Title:  you might say, how is that possible?

You are now calling yourself a writer, I hope.  Because that is what you are!  Presuming you have been following along with what I have written in my recent articles ~

Often, I will create a remarkable title, before I write the article.  Then, I will craft the article around the title.  It seems to give me a focus about what I am writing about.

However, you may choose to do it differently.  It is up to you.  Perhaps you would like to try it both ways.

You are an article writer and you have written an article on your chosen subject or niche.  You have keyworded it well.  It is full of useful information.  But will anyone read it?  You MUST have a perfect title for your article.  The title is the most important few words in your article, period!  That is why I say to create a remarkable title.  It is the single piece of your article that opens the door to your customer, convincing him that he must read the rest of the article.  Nothing is as important as an excellent title.

Keep it short.  Most people can only absorb about nine to eleven words at a time, including short words like “an” and “the”.  Having more words in your title means that your reader may move onto the next article.  Make them want to read YOUR article.

Put your keyword in the first three to five words.  First, it lets the searcher know that your article addresses their topic.  Second, it gives you a Google boost, ensuring that your title appears higher for the keyword you are using than it otherwise would.  This is a game of small steps and every little bit helps.

Using the words “how to”, “hints” and “tips” tend to increase your search ability:  you may get more hits because more people search for “how to plant a tree” rather than “planting trees”.  Strive to provide fast, to-the-point, usable information that your reader is seeking.

As a writer, please remember that your article is a promise to your reader.  Make sure your title matches your article, both in the planning stages and when you go back to revise it.  That is precisely why I usually write my title first, before writing the article.

Your article is a promise to your reader.  Be sure you fulfill your promise and you will have a happy audience.  Captivate them!

I hope I am inspiring you to succeed.

Maureen

How To Write Many Articles Quickly

Dear faithful readers who choose to be an inspired success,

I am going to share with you what I know about how to write many articles quickly and easily. Yes, you can become an inspired success in article marketing!

Let me tell you how.

As you become successful at writing articles and people clamor for more information, you will find that you need to write a LOT of articles. How to write many articles quickly, becomes a critical skill. Do you know your subject well? Do more research, if you do not. Make sure your article writing is of the highest quality possible. People will come to think of you as an “expert”. Write like one!

It’s easy to write the first few articles, if you have good ideas. What about the next dozen or so? Actually, if you have good typing skills and know your subject well, you can write a dozen or more articles a day. Yes, you really can.

The key is coming up with the perfect topic (and title) and then learning how to outline an article so that the writing comes quickly and smoothly. Write in simple language, as though you were talking to a friend.

In my own writing, I have struggled to come up with relevant and helpful information, until I thought about the basics of journalism: Who, What, When, Where, Why and How. How is the most valuable of these when article wring. Hence, my title “How To Write Many Articles Quickly”. Any topic based around one of the six magic words should result in good articles.

There is nothing special about me. I just want to write something to help others learn what I already know to work. I have a successful blog to disseminate this information.

I make a list of titles for articles that I want to write about. If you have trouble, go back to one of your best titles and start researching it for more specific topics: mining down into your niche, so to speak.

Another technique is to choose one topic idea and outline a process around that idea. If you REALLY exhaust a topic, you might be able to get a good eBook out of it, which is a great marketing too.

Each article should be outlined on a separate page. Try to have at least 6-8 points to hit upon. 500 words is a standard article. Make a note of the keyword you want to use for the article.

Take a break from writing and come back to it later. Often, your clarity of mind will help you to enhance your article further.

There are numerous other ways to write many articles quickly, but your own creativity will move you forward.

My faith is in you ~

Sincerely,

Maureen

Article Writing ~ How To Find New Material

Hello again,

Are you still with me, hoping to become a serious article writer?  Well, I am here to further your knowledge of article writing.  Personally, I love to write and I hope to instill the love of writing in all of my students.

One of the challenges that faces every article creator is coming up with new material and article ideas that will draw readers.  After you’ve written a few hundred articles, you’ve learned the HOW TO.  But where do you find new material to write about?  Fresh and popular ideas?

Do not allow a roadblock to dissuade you!  There are plenty of sources available to you, and they will be a lifesaver.

Listen up.  These are only a few sources that I have found to help me in my article writing.  You will undoubtedly come up with other unique ideas on how to find new material.

  • Join and participate in chat rooms that are associated with your topic.  Pay attention to the questions and answers to topics of discussions that occur.  Ask others in the room what they are seeking.
  • Be on the lookout for news that relates to your topic.  The media is a great source of current events.  Be aware to catch the latest, hot topics as they relate to your writing.
  • Visitors to your website, your email list, purchasers of your products.  All are great sources of information for the article creator.
  • Go to Amazon and other sites, to see what the “hot sellers” of the time are.
  • Consider starting a blog as part of your web presence.  The comments and questions that participants will post are amazing.  Just be sure to respond quickly and to keep your blog updated with fresh information.
  • Ask your friends what they are interested in.  Any number of subjects will surface!

Article writing is not hard to do.  However, you do need to know what the content is going to be when you are creating an article.  The words will not just flow out onto the paper.  Have a plan of what you want to present to your reader.  An outline is helpful, and almost essential.

But even before the outline, create your TITLE.  This is your topic.  It decides what you are going to talk about and, often, what aspect you are going to talk about when dealing with a particular subject.  Make your title “catchy”.  Make your reader WANT to read what you have to say.

In my next “issue” about Article Writing, I will explain more about the BODY (or content) of the article.  See how easy it is to get “carried away ” when writing.  You would be bored to death if you had to read everything at once.  And remember….little bites of an elephant are easier to digest, than the whole at once!

To your ultimate writing success,

Maureen
